OOTD: Hello, Kitty!

Today I’m taking a break from the usual fictional narratives I write to accompany my outfit posts. Sometimes, too much figurative language can be too heavy on the soul. Yet, there I am again resorting to a figure of speech! 🙂

I’m glad that these days, despite my busy schedule, I’m sticking to my resolve to post more frequently on my blog. I haven’t missed a day yet since Monday. I hope I don’t jinx my streak by pointing it out here. *fingers crossed*

Today’s outfit was styled with Hello Kitty in mind because last Saturday, I attended the Hello Kitty Fashion show by SM Kids’ Fashion at SM North EDSA. I wanted something girly and kiddie not only to be in theme but also to deviate from my more recent posts.

It’s not the first time I wore this outfit but whenever I feel like being a kid again, I always go back to this combo. The floral body suit plus the tutu skirt makes me feel like a ballerina sans the tight bun. Those brown pumps from Ferretti is also a current favorite because despite the heels, it’s so comfortable to walk in! I think that’s a feat for stiletto shoes as most are very uncomfortable and painful to wear. Plus, I didn’t have to break into them. First time I wore them, my feet didn’t hurt at all! I can go on and on with my raves because I swear to you, this pair is so easy to wear! 🙂

Another thing on my list of favorites this month is my new pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses. Normally, I wouldn’t go for this shape but I’m pleasantly surprised that it complements the shape of my face so well! The two-toned effect is also very cool! I’ve been wearing this every time I go out for a week now! 🙂

In case you love Hello Kitty, you should definitely check out SM North EDSA’s Hello Kitty Christmas village. I adore the brick houses with pink rooms! I wish I lived in Hello Kitty’s world. She’s so cute!!! If you haven’t seen it yet, then make sure to drop by SM North EDSA The Block before January 5.

Lastly, I know that I’ve promised another giveaway last Monday but I haven’t been able to take a photo of the prizes yet. :3 So sorry, everyone! Will post it within the week, though, so don’t worry! 😀

Hope you’re all having a fabulous week! Happy 12.12.12!!!
