Today was a working Saturday because I had to attend a couple of events for work. Since I have been so busy recently and have not been able to play with makeup at all, I thought I’d make an effort today with my makeup.
Because both events were scheduled during the day, my consideration was how to make it glam and yet not look over the top. Also, my makeup had to be long-lasting as I had to jump from one event to another with little time to touch up.
Here’s the result which I took on the cab ride home:
I kept the eyes really simple by mixing neutral colors like gold and brown. A quick sweep of eyeliner, mascara, and a set of demi lashes completed the eye makeup. For the skin, I used primer before foundation to make it last longer. I also put on some blush and bronzer to add color to the face. Lastly, I added a splash of red on the lips for good measure.
I just wanted to show you guys this Le Secret bracelet from Jewelmer as seen on Anne Curtis and Bryan Boy. I tried in on during the event and wanted one for myself so much! I need to save a bit more to be able to afford one. π
Above are the products used to complete the look. Unbelievable that I used so many products right considering that the makeup looks really simple? π
The products used are as follows:
- Mary Kay Primer
- Revlon Photo Ready Airbrush Foundation
- Matte Brown color from Elizabeth Arden’s Caribbean Color Kit for my brows
- Human Heart Nature Eyeshadow Palette
- Sleek Storm Palette
- Etude House Henna Mascarra
- Shu Uemura Lash Curlers
- Ever Bilena HD Eyeliner
- Mod Lash Eyelash Adhesive from The Beauty Bar
- Saizen Demi Lashes
- Sleek Blush in Flamingo
- Palladio Bronzer
- Tony Moly Berry Lovely Girl Petit Powder
- Revlon Matte Lipstick in Really Red
I have already reviewed some of the products used so if you have any questions about them, just let me know in the comments section below and I’ll link you to the posts. Also, if you have questions about how to do the look, let me know as well and I’ll be glad to help you. π

Fail ako when it comes to falsies. I only wear them during special occasions, and I always need my sister’s help to glue them on. LOL.

Loving what you did on your eyes! π The lashes don’t look to natural when you close your eyes, but it looks so pretty with your eyes open. Anyway, it’s quite normal to use up a lot of products even on simple looks. I did a natural sultry look before and I can’t believe the amount of products I used! haha.. XD
