OOTD: Across the Universe

Galaxy prints have been very popular lately in the world of fashion. Although designers have been using this print since as far back as 2007 (and maybe even before), it snowballed in popularity when Christopher Kane launched his Resort 2011 collection featuring beautiful NASA photos of the galaxy on silk.

A lot of people instantly fell in love. Who wouldn’t? The galaxy is breath-taking. To have photos of it printed on cloth is a brilliant idea. So after winning a discount coupon from Geisha Pearl, I bought this gorgeous asymmetrical hem galaxy dress because I simply couldn’t resist.

Outfit Details:

  • Β Dress from The Geisha Pearl
  • Shoes from Folded and Hung
  • Belt from SM Department Store
  • Accessories from Aizylim

While wearing this dress, I felt like I was floating on a cloud of space dust. It moved so well especially when gentle bursts of wind blew my way. Because of the asymmetrical hem, I didn’t look like I was drowning in it as I do when wearing maxi dresses. Instead, I felt tall and ready to conquer the world and the galaxies beyond!

P.S. Don’t forget to HYPE this look Β HERE.
