I want to say up front that technically, there’s no winter here in the Philippines. Here, a bit of rain plus a slight chill in the air is as winter as it gets. Nevertheless, I still want to dive right into the spirit of the season and create a look for “winter” in the Philippines.
My inspiration for this would be Abbey Lee Kershaw. I have loved her for years (in a none creepy way, I hope) and she has more than once been the peg for my hair styles. She has such a delicate look about her but at the same time, she comes off as tough in her photos and fashion choices.
I have always struggled when creating my own sets in Polyvore. My obsessive compulsiveness surfaces once I start fixing the elements in it. Usually, I try to combat it by making things as cluttered as possible. Today, however, the OC-ness won.
More about the set: It has been my dream to wear a long chiffon skirt like that. I’m just not sure though if I would look good in it since I’m sooo short! There’s always the fear that I’d look like I’m drowning. Ah, but I’ll never know unless I try, right?
How about you, who’s your style inspiration?
It looks nice π
