It’s a Snoe Beauty Party!

All you girls and boys will have something to look forward to this Christmas – getting to know Snoe Beauty Inc, one of the hottest Filipino specialty cosmetics brand to hit the beauty industry this season!

Who Is Snoe?

Established in 2010, the brand aims to “provide stylish and high-end cosmetics that deliver beauty and value for money.” Interestingly, it was named after Noe, the daughter of Jen Gerodias-Diaz, Snoe’s co-founder, who was often described as being white as snow. From that, the brand name evolved to Snoe and was aptly represented by a snowflake logo to symbolize the uniqueness and diversity of the target market the brand wishes to reach.

I particularly love the lush and pretty packaging of each Snoe item despite the affordable prices. The effort that went into the design process mimics the love and care that went into the development of each product. As owners Jen and Gen say, before any of their goods are introduced to the market, they make sure that they and their family personally test the quality and effectiveness of each.

(Above:Β Jen Gerodias-Diaz talks us through the history of Snoe Beauty Inc.)

Most of the products too are born of careful research on their part. Both make it a point to test out several products in the market, identify the things they like from their favorites brands, and combine those elements into their very own Snoe range. For example, Jen and Gen are self-proclaimed sun screen addicts. They believe that sun protection is essential in maintaining youthful-looking skin. Hence, most of their products contain SPF to protect the skin daily from the sun’s harmful rays.

My Top Snoe PicksDespite it being a newcomer in the industry, Snoe has an extensive range of products, which include a skin care line (lotions, beauty bars, masks, sun blocks, and sanitizers), cosmetics (eyeliner, BB Cream, lip balms and glosses, false eyelashes), an anti-aging line (Emu.Thology), and hair products (Hair Heroes line).

Among these, here are my top picks:

1. Hair Heroes Argan Intense Argan Oil TreatmentMoroccan oil or Argan oil has been creating a buzz among celebrities and beauty experts at the moment. Made from the kernels of the Argan tree, this precious oil endemic to Morocco and dubbed as “liquid gold” can do wonders to rejuvenate the hair! This product from Snoe can be used as a deep cleansing conditioner, a deep treatment mask, a de-tangler, or simply as a leave-on cream.

2. Snoe Milk ScrubRemember how bathing in milk was once used by princesses to keep their skin all soft and lovely? Well, do that at present and you’ll be wasting a tub-full of precious commodity. Not very practical. So instead of indulging in a milk bath, why not just treat yourself to a milk scrub? Buffing away the rough and dry patches of skin from your body with real milk and sea salt will leave it just as smooth and glowing.

3. Body Ritual RecipesI’ve just recently discovered the greatness of perfume! Before, I believed in keeping one’s scent real! Haha. Snoe’s Body Ritual Recipes line, however, is quite tempting as it boasts of gourmet scents that will leave you smelling good enough to eat. It comes in three variants (left to right): Honey Dew Yogurt, Vanilla Bean and Butterscotch, and Passion Fruit Parfait. I’m dying to try Vanilla Bean and Butterscotch since I’m frankly addicted to the sickly sweet smell of Vanilla!

4. Emu.Thology Line(Photo from the Snoe Beauty Inc Facebook)

Made from high grade pure emu oil (anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, and wound healing properties), acai berry (antioxidants), and singkamas (whitening), this is Snoe’s answer to everyone who’s worried about aging. Rub it on your skin or dab a bit under your eyes to keep it looking young in the years to come!

5. Flash On Falsies(Photo for the Snoe Facebook Page)

Last but not the least, I’m also in love with their falsies. I ran my hands through one of them while I was checking out the their stall in Eastwood and the lashes felt so soft! It was my biggest regret that I didn’t buy them then and there! Boohoo.

So there you have it! For some, this might be your first look at Snoe and their products. If indeed it is, I suggest that you get to know them better. Let’s support Filipino enterprises and help them get known worldwide. πŸ™‚ If you’re raring to try out their products, please check out their stores in the following areas:

  1. Hi Mich, Thanks so much for posting this! We’ll share this on our Facebook page. πŸ™‚
By the way our site will be up very soon, it’s something that we can all look forward to. We are all excited to launch all the products that we are planning to introduce in the market soon and definitely, we’ll invite you again. Let’s give way to Filipino brands, it’s about time that we love our own. Cheers and more power to you!

    1. Thanks for inviting me! It was a pleasure to be there! I truly believe in supporting Filipino brands because I believe in the quality of Philippine-made products. I think Snoe Beauty Inc has great potential to indeed be a global brand. πŸ™‚ Can’t wait for you to have more stores. I’ll surely be a regular customer. πŸ™‚

  2. I love the branding and packaging a product that I will be looking for it is also appealing looks like an imported brand, I am actually supporting filipino brans as i can’t afford imported one. Looking forward for this product, Hope that I will review it on my blog too

    1. Yeah! Try them and post a review! i’d like to know what you think as well. They’re opening a store in Robinson’s Galleria in a few week’s time. Might be closer if you live in the city center πŸ™‚ Thanks for dropping by Chris! πŸ˜€

  3. Looks interesting – I love that there is a Filipino brand that has the cahones to step up and create a line of products that is unique and competitive enough to possibly compete with international brands.

I’m looking forward to see who their endorser will be and how far their marketing can push Snoe forward; however, the packaging can still be improved. There is no unifying theme that identifies the products as a Snoe creation (eg. the Body Ritual Recipes look like their from Crabtree & Evelyn, the falsies from SM dept. store, the Snoe Milk Scrub from vintage Human, etc.) unlike other brands such as Etude House, Mac, Body Shop, Shiseido, etc.

    1. Thanks for the feedback Bee-oo-tee-full! πŸ™‚ That would surely help in improving the brand. Consumer feedback is always a good source of brand insights. πŸ™‚

    1. For some reason, your comments always go to my spam box 😦 Similar in terms of range but much more affordable! Who knows? Baka next year meron na! πŸ˜€
