Topshop, Top Girl

As soon as I heard about the Topshop “Buy One, Get One for Free” promo on Facebook, I rushed over to the nearest store (Podium) with my friend Joey to check out the offerings. We both fell in love with a light olive cropped leather bomber jacket. However, at the end of the day, Joey couldn’t find it in her size and I, decided to forget about it since it was still horribly expensive despite the sale.

Instead, since I was still lusting after leather, I settled on this spandex leggings that’s an absolute dream when worn. It fits snugly and is very comfortable.

I thought I’d buy some Rock and Roll shirts to go with it but decided against doing so upon seeing myself wear them at the dressing room. Rock and roll chick is so not my style. πŸ™‚ I guess I should just leave the rock and roll persona to my boyfriend.

I guess I’d just have to fine a more appropriate top to go with it that’s more in line with my personal style. πŸ™‚

Then, I went in search of my free item. The rule goes that if you buy something from the sale rack, you get another item for free that’s either the same price or is lower-priced. Not a bad deal, eh? So I found this dreamy polka dot dress that just spells “Mich.”

To be honest, though, it was this scalloped Peter Pan collar that finally sealed the deal for me. Can you say adorable?

While I was there, I also bought myself some knickers but those are not for the public eye. Haha. πŸ˜€

For everyone who’s interested in getting some goodies from Topshop or Topman, better head on to the stores. The promo is only until tomorrow. πŸ™‚

    1. Hi Grace! The prices range from about PHP200 to PHP4,000. I got the spandex leggings for about PHP1,200+ so I was able to get the dress for free because it was priced at PHP1,100+. When you buy something, you get another item that’s of the same cost or lower cost for free. πŸ™‚ Hope this helps!

      1. Hahaha yeah, I’m sure marami pa yan! πŸ˜€ Shoes and bags sale naman ngayon sa Mega Mall πŸ™‚

  1. Love the outfits, though I just wonder: how could people in Manila weather pull off leather clothing? Kinda hot for that, isn’t it? Or is it the perforated stuff, which lets air in and out of the jacket?

    1. hey hey! πŸ™‚ it’s not really leather. More like spandex πŸ™‚ It gets quite cold in the “Ber” months especially since it’s raining constantly. It also helps that the airconditioning at the office keeps the place freezing πŸ˜›

      1. You mean faux leather (polyurethrane)?

What other stores could you find those stuff there?

        Biker vs bomber?

      2. elastane πŸ™‚ plenty of other stores πŸ˜› mango and zara should also have them. even some local brands have them πŸ™‚ biker and bomber jackets look similar. i dont have a preference.

  2. Oh, oh yeah! I have a couple of jackets in that kind of stuff. And I’m familiar with Mango and Zara. And maybe you should check out Adora Retail:

Looks like a pretty nice place. Equivalent to Bloomingdales/Nordstrom/Neiman Marcus, which are luxury stores here. And I know this just by adding an old friend up from nine years who has a sister who works there. πŸ˜›

Biker =have asymmetric/band collar and they’re leather all-over, should be slimmer in fit

Bomber = have knit cuffs and collars/they tend to have a couple of patch pockets in the chest

    1. In that case, I’d go with the biker. πŸ™‚ Adora is horribly expensive! hahaha Maybe next time when I’ve got a lot of cash to blow πŸ™‚

  3. is there a chance you’d be selling this dress? hehe i guess not, i actually bought it my self two or three years ago, but i managed to ruin it and i’m desperate for a new one haha.. πŸ™‚
