When I was still at school, National Bookstore was my forbidden addiction. Every time I stepped a foot inside its musty, book-smelling walls, I instantly felt compelled to buy something. Most times, I bought ball pens, which I eventually lost after only a few days.
Now that I’m out of school, this addiction has transferred itself to Watson’s – a pharmaceutical chain store similar to Boots in the UK. It houses a wide range of affordable to mid-range beauty products that call to me whenever I go there. Yesterday, I decided to give in to the lure and do my toiletries shopping at Watson’s Podium. Here are the things I got:
I decided to try a new shampoo and conditioner brand yesterday because I’m no longer happy with Herbal Essences. Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula duo seemed like a good bet. I used it last night and my hair now smells so nice and feels really soft. I’m very happy with it. I shall do a review after a few weeks. *Excited*
Also, since I bought some products from Pond’s, I got a free cute pouch! 🙂 I love the freebies from Watson’s. Last time, the saleslady gave me a stack of To-Do List notes from Dove. Very useful for the office. Watson’s Podium is probably my favorite branch. It sells hair tools from Babyliss and other products that aren’t necessarily available in other branches (like SM Mega Mall).
Anyway, that’s about it. I’ve got a few posts lined up for the rest of the week including my ring shopping adventure at St. Francis Square. Hope you guys watch out for it. Have a great day! xxx
